AWANA stands for Approved Workmen are Not Ashamed, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.

During AWANA we help your child learn about God through handbook activities and stories from the Bible. Our dedicated group of trained leaders looks forward to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all of our AWANA kids.

We want them to know and follow Jesus as their Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9), grow in His grace each day (2 Peter 3:18) and hide His Word in their hearts (Psalm 119:11).

We do AWANA a little differently. Instead of meeting during the week the children meet during the second half of the Morning Worship Service (Starting time of 10:30am). So your children will start out with you in the service and then will be dismissed to Children’s Church (AWANA). A lesson will be taught and time will be spent in your child’s own handbook. This will be for ages 2-5th grade and will include the AWANA clubs of Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks and Truth and Training.

Puggles – Our Club for 2 and 3 year-olds.  Puggles recognizes their learning ability by introducing Biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home. Toddlers love having their very own Awana club, just like their older siblings.

Cubbies – Our Club for 3-5 year-olds celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.

Sparks – Our Club for K-2nd graders ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

Truth and Training – Our Club for 3rd-5th graders helps answer your child’s questions about God and the Bible.
